Are you tired of the same old thing? These shepherds huts HAVN'T got a colour TV, hairdryer, telephone or DVD player, but what they HAVE got is something that cannot be quantified.
When you wake up in the morning, having had the most beautiful sleep on the ultra comfortable bed, all you can see is a rolling meadow running down to the River Cherwell. You can listen to the buzzards calling while they soar above, having heard nothing but owls hooting during the night. Just you and nature - nothing else.
Walk along the river to the local pub for that glass of wine. Enjoy a nightcap by the camp fire before retiring to the divinely comfortable bed....
No neighbours, no noise, just complete peace and tranquility - a chance to recharge your batteries and have that little bit of adventure that the soul craves for.....
All the shepherd huts are completely seperate and unique in that you are the ONLY guests - no shared kitchens or bathrooms here - just complete privacy.
FABULOUS walks include the Millenium Way, The Jurassic Way, the Battlefields walk and The Macmillan Way.
Really cosy in the winter with fire pit, log burner or electric heaters and VERY warm duvet.

"The shepherds hut was exactly what we were looking for. A super simple space to relax in a field surrounded by quiet horses and warmed by a powerful log burner. The perfect respite after the chaos of Christmas. We only spent one night but I'd happily live there and spend my days outside chopping wood, taking walks by the river and eating. You don't need to go far to find millions of tiny quaint villages and we really enjoyed the friendly atmos and tasty grub at the Crown in Weston."

The shepherd's hut was wonderful, we had a wonderful new year's eve away from everything. The hut is cosy and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. The outdoor toilet is clean and there is even a hot shower - luxury! We loved feeding the pigs and visiting the horses and chickens, plus great hiking right from the door. Pauline and Doug were friendly and helpful hosts - it could not have been a better stay. Thank you!"

David and I had an amazing time in the Shepherds Hut - what a quaint space! We loved everything about it, from the fairy lights over the bed to the fabulous breakfast provided us (the eggs and bacon were amazing!). And the countryside was delightful, it was the perfect setting for a wonderful proposal!
Thank you again - we can't wait to come again :)

"We are back now and looking at all the photos to remind us of our wonderful stay. - What a beautiful little treasured spot.
We had such a nice walk in the evening sunshine past Edgcote House and then a glass of wine in The Griffin. This morning we loved walking in the mist and then watching the sun come up.
The shower was fantastic and a whole new experience being semi-outdoors. We walked down to the river and watched hares running, which was brilliant. So as you can tell we loved every minute and will definitely be back very soon" P & J Ellis (Milton Keynes)
Just wanted to write and say thank you for the weekend. Your Shepherds Hut was the best place we have ever stayed, absolutely amazing. We've never spent a weekend doing so little, but enjoying the place we are staying in so much.

"As you know it was our wedding night which we spent in your shepherd hut - It couldn't have been better and we have memories that will stay with us forever. The champagne and candles were a lovely touch. Thank you so much for making it so special"

I know we told you that we were going to tell everyone on trip advisor about your Shepherds hut. It was SO wonderful that we have changed our minds as we don't want anyone else to know about it! Sorry!! We will be back very soon... Sonya and Daniel. Kettering, Northants.
I just wanted to email to say what a brilliant time we had last night at the Shepherd hut. You have a wonderful location, we loved the welcome from the dogs, ducks and chickens! The horses cantered up to us (only a little disappointed that we didn't have food for them!) and one of the pigs visited in the morning! The hut is lovely, you seem to have thought of everything and it has some beautiful touches. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast hamper this morning and cooked it up on the gas BBQ. It was a great stay and we hope we can get to visit again.
Kat (Rainhill, Merseyside)
Thank you for a lovely stay in stable shepherd hut! This the the first time we have been able to take the dog away with us and he has thoroughly enjoyed it as much as we have.
You have thought of everything and it really is a cosy and lovely place!
Nat, Marie and Charlie (London)
Had a lovely stay in the Shepherd's hit for my boyfriend's birthday. It was so romantic and cosy with such a lovely wood burner to keep us toastie. There were 2 pubs 15mins walk away which was a welcome surprise. Was so nice wandering and feeding the pigs. Pauline was a lovely host, we only saw her as we arrived but she was very friendly, the rest of the time it almost felt as we had the own farm which was such a welcome treat coming from London. Thank you for a lovely stay, we really enjoyed ourselves. The shepherd's hut is a lovely place to stay with plenty of privacy and very peaceful. " Antonia and Chris
